...because our ideas be trippin'
First off, let me welcome all of our fans that have found us and watch our videos. We're really pleased to find that you are enjoying them as much as we enjoy making them.
Yes, I'm quite late to the party in making this post. I got so caught up in the process of watching the TV shows, and producing the Creaming The Tube videos that 4 months went by in the blink of an eye. after a hectic couple of months, things are settling down and we've discussed how we can simplify the production of the "Creaming" videos so we can get them out in a more timely manner (Basically, I have to stop over-doing it). It'll also give us time to make other videos and explore other ideas for content we had planned for the Team Heavy Cream site.
What you see in the videos is raw and unscripted, really, it is. And we pretty much go until the batteries run out. That's what we do and have done, all the time, FOR YEARS. The rants are not just about TV, we talk about games we play, books we read, anime, manga, movies, music, commercials, blog posts, tech that we buy, imaginary conversations that we think the pets have with each other...everything is fair game. The times we had ideas for websites...MY GOD the ideas Elaine came up with...
Over the years, we've seen these crazy ideas explode into entire business ventures, die on the vine due to lack of resources and tech, or fade into ruin due to a client's lack of trust and vision. There have been ideas we've seen others execute, and we look at each other and go "We could have done that" or "We did that!". The idea for Creaming the Tube actually started as a radio show back when the term podcast wasn't even thought of yet. As time passed, review sites gave way to blog sites, and podcasts became video blogs. So when we finally had the chance to produce the show, it made more sense to make videos. We're finally at a place where we can stop watching the ideas the ideas go by, to be able to create media content and not just consume it. To have an archive of content dedicated to documenting us and the things we enjoy (or in some cases hate) that we own and control, not just in the sense that we own the files and control where they go, but that we created them.
The journey with Heavy Cream has only just begun and it'll be interesting to see where it takes us. I'm glad we have already found fans in this short time to share the experience. If you laugh and/or learn something from what you find on the site, that's awesome...BECAUSE OUR IDEAS BE TRIPPIN'!!
